The envelope and brickwork

With a strong foundation in place, the team can now begin assembling the brickwork. This is a phase with lots of activity on the site. For the first time, the project will rise from ground level. Now that the important groundwork is complete, the team can begin to raise the scaffold, which will be used during the brickwork. The bricks will be laid to form the skeleton of the building. Before the team can begin laying the bricks and mortar, there are a few steps to take.
This milestone includes
Raising the scaffold and ground floor block and brickwork
Start April 2026Expected to end May 2026
Taking great care, the team will build a temporary framework in order to complete the brickwork from the ground to the first floor and above.
Blockwork and Brickwork from first level to roof
Start June 2026Expected to end June 2026
At this stage the team will build from the first floor to the roof.
Fire barriers
Start June 2026Expected to end June 2026
Fire barriers is the term used to describe the method of forming a barrier around openings and joints, in a wall or floor, which needs to be constructed to impede fire for a designed period of time.
Fitting the windows
Start August 2026Expected to end October 2026
After completing the reinforced concrete frame and concrete, the team can begin fitting the specialist windows.
